Catch Up on the BBC Radio Gloucestershire website to hear ‘Sing our Festival Song‘ being played as a prelude to this weekend’s Lechlade Festival. Jennie Rainsford (festival director) has a 5 minute plug and is very complimentary about how the song came about. Claire Carter (the DJ) was very kind too! The Wishy Washy Songbook and The Music Box albums can now be bought in Chippy’s award-winning bookshop, Jaffé & Neale. Supporters of local authors and artists, Patrick & Polly have given Mr Myles a fantastic spot in the cosy children’s section at the back of the shop. It’s worth a visit just for its cuteness! Go see and why not buy a book while you’re there? They really do have a fantastic selection of fine reads.

Here it is! The official video for The Lechlade Music Festival, Sing our Festival Song has arrived and is now available for all to see. Watch it and laugh all the way from wherever you are to Lechlade (and back!) As you can see we had a giggle :-)

So we had a crazy gathering in Lechlade this morning making the video for Sing our Festival Song (the song for the Lechlade Music Festival 2013) - a gathering or craziness which kicked off in The Market Place and progressed through the town, passing a lot of confused passers-by and shoppers! We filmed on the river banks of The Thames, in a tunnel and along the towpath, past some beautiful canal-boats. We performed Figure of Eights between pub tables and ate ice-cream to defy the heavy rain clouds and prove that we were indeed ‘in Lechlade, in the sun, sun, sun!’ Check out the song and wait for the video which is in the process of being edited as you read this.
