Which Wychwood? THIS Wychwood!
Mr Myles Music enjoyed leading four workshops at The Seaside during this weekend’s Wychwood Festival at Cheltenham Race Course.
The children who came along were fantastic and joined in admirably.
Altogether we played some Boomwhackers hitting every part of the marquee possible and sang and moved to lots of other fun songs.
I wrote a chant specifically for the Festival that we opened each workshop with. The words are at the bottom… Other music included: a Call & Response chant, I Am A Broom, the songs E G Y P T, Good Morning!, Fe-Fi-Fo-Fum, Magic Everywhere, I Sing My Scat, Man, and Fire! Fire! plus a bit of other improvising with children’s names, in particular Elias who likes to put out fires!
Thank you to all of you who came along and to the parents who sang so well and kept things going. It makes a huge difference when you join and get what the music is all about!
